Detection

Join a call on Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, or a Slack huddle, and Thine shows a short countdown before it starts taking notes. Skip any meeting with one click, or turn automatic capture off in Settings and start notes yourself.

Transcription

Stop choosing between listening and writing.

While you're in the meeting, Thine transcribes everything being said. Jot your own notes if you want, or don't. Nothing gets lost.

Enhancement

Get notes you would actually share.

When the meeting ends, Thine turns the conversation into meeting notes, with key points and action items, shortly after you hang up.

Permissions

Three permissions. Nothing more.

When you first open Thine, it walks you through allowing these in macOS. Here's exactly what each one is for.

Detect your meetings

Accessibility

Lets Thine see when a Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, or Slack call starts, so notes begin at the right moment.

Transcribe your voice

Microphone

Captures your voice while Thine is taking notes.

Transcribe others

System audio

Captures the other people on the call straight from your Mac's audio, which is why no bot ever needs to join.

You can change any of these later in System Settings → Privacy & Security.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Which Macs does Thine run on?

Thine for Mac needs a Mac with Apple Silicon (M1 or newer) running macOS 15 or later. Intel Macs aren't supported yet.

Does a bot join my calls?

Never. Thine records from your Mac's microphone and system audio, so nobody else on the call sees a bot or an extra participant.

Which meeting apps does it work with?

Thine detects calls in Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, and Slack huddles. You can also start a quick note any time, for any call or conversation.

Do I need a separate account?

No. Sign in with Google or Apple, using the account you have in the Thine iPhone app. Your notes, memory, and plan carry across both.

How do updates work?

Thine checks for updates on its own and downloads them in the background. When one is ready, the app lets you know, and a restart installs it.

Is there a Windows version?

Not yet. Thine for Mac and Thine for iPhone are available today.

Be in the meeting. Thine has the notes.
